I have enjoyed both the Others of Edenton series and the Others of Seattle series. This book takes many of the Fae characters back to their homeland. I was not sure if I would like this one as I was not overly keen on the two main characters but was pleasantly surprised. There is the usual problems, evil aunts, creatures that would give one nightmares and ultimately a happy ending. I have come to the conclusion that I prefer the Edenton series, but this book was interesting and was a good way to spend an evening with a glass of wine. You don't really have to have read the earlier books but it does help to identify all of the Many characters that are thrown together here.Product details

This book is part of a series and while you don't have to have read all of them, it is better if you have read at least the Storm Mistress.
Toryn and Isadora are soul mates, but now the are going to get married. The ceremony will be in the Fairy realm, because there is another couple, very important to Isadora having the same ceremony .
They all know a lethal enemy could be waiting to kill them. Even with someone who can see how the future can unfold there is no guarantee of winning.
A fast paced, very sexy magical story. We have more types if magical beings than you can imagine. All will be doing their best to kill or rescue depending on who they are.

This is the story of Faery coming back together in would be viewed by most as Happily Ever After! It all kicks off with a bang at Isa and Toryn's wedding and you'll never guess how it ends! Lots of passion, some humor, quite a bit of magical violence all leading up to a great ending. And now a bit about the story...
Isa just knows something bad is going to happen. She almost wants to run to Vegas to elope. But she knows that would disappoint her mother. So she goes thru with the Faery wedding, keeping her eyes and ears open for trouble. The reception isn't even over before the trouble begins! Battle after battle will try to destroy the kingdoms, can Isa save them all?

disclaimer! - While you won't be completely lost if you are new to the series - Twisted Bonds is best read AFTER you've read at the very least Storm Mistress, but preferable other books in the Others of Seattle / Others of Edenton series.
I absolutely love how Brandy Rivers is able to create such intricate three dimensional characters and worlds. With Twisted Bonds, she is continuing the story of not just main characters Toryn and Isa, but is giving so much more to the stories of a multitude of characters readers/fans have met along the way in her different series.
The complexities of the relationships between her characters and worlds as well as between the known and unknown allows for greater character development throughout these stories. Rivers has shown over and over again that she is more than capable of taking her readers into a world and making them feel like it's one they've always known. Twisted Bonds only underscores how incredible this world is and shows the growth and change within the characters and world. I can't wait to see where they go next!
Watching some if the questions become answered. New families forming. Then wanting to see where thier lives are headed.
Did not want to put the book down
Isa and Toryn's wedding is eminent and yet there's a real danger waiting in the wings. With the help of family and friends Isa and Toryn will combat the evil that has threatened Faerie for centuries. The resulting changes in Faerie will make the realm more secure and let it finally heal.
Incredible, couldn't put down. I just love how she interacts her characters. Twists and turns in all directions mixed with the unique abilities that make this a truly wonderful addition to this series. Once I started I couldn't put down until I finished, and I plan to read it many more times. If you enjoy her other stories you will definitely enjoy this one.
I fell in love with both the Others of Edenton and Others of Seattle series years ago, and this book most definitely lived up to my high expectations! It was fast paced from the first chapter, and I didn't set it down until hours later when I had finished the entire book. I loved seeing more of the love between Isa and Toryn, their friendships, and the conclusions to several plot points that have been introduced as far back as Isa and Toryn's first book, Storm Mistress. In some ways this book felt like a reunion to me since we get to see glimpses of many of the characters in Rivers' world, both Edenton and Seattle. I just loved everything about this book and it was everything I could have wanted for the next story in this series!
